Despite having become incredibly successful across several sections of the firearm industry, Magpul hasn't rested on their laurels. New products from Magpul abound, and they include extremely affordable Glock magwells, the windowed DAKA pouch for documents and maps, an enhanced AR magazine release button for tactical and competition use, the X-22 Backpacker stock that fits all Ruger 10 22 Takedown models, the Magpul Hunter stock for the Remington 700, and of course magazines. Both PMAG 74 MOE 5.45x39 mags for the AK74 and the PMAG 30 AR 300 B GEN M3 magazine for the 300 BLK chambered AR15 are new for this year.
Aside from the original Magpul device, some of the first products introduced by the company were several variations of a then-revolutionary Magpul stock design. Although that first Magpul M93 stock is long gone, you can find many a Magpul AR-15 stock which will fit the same needs and perform well across a variety of uses. AR-15 buffer tubes, or receiver extension tubes, come in both commercial (larger) and mil-spec (smaller) diameters, and Magpul makes stocks for both sizes. Mil-spec is preferred by many and quickly becoming more popular in the market, but there are still a lot of commercial tubes out there. Magpul buttstock accessories can be found for all types of stocks, including add-on QD sling swivel sockets and additional rubber buttpads to absorb recoil. Owners of the AK-47 rifle will rejoice when they discover the Zhukov stock line.
The Magpul UBR stock is the descendant of the M93 – offering a consistent cheek weld while also allowing for an adjustable length of pull. The reinforced and upgraded Magpull UBR Gen 2 collapsible buttstock is not lightweight, but that makes it an ideal choice for rifles with sound suppressors on the muzzle or heavy barrels, as it will balance out the front-heavy weight.
Intended for use on precision rifles and sniper rifles, the Magpul PRS stock offers very fine adjustments for cheek weld and length of pull. Original variations required a rifle length buffer tube, but the Magpul PRS Gen 3 adjustable buttstock is also compatible with carbine buffer tubes as well as the excellent Vltor A5. If you're not sure what kind of buffer tube you have, buy a PRS Gen 3 model. It has the highest chance of fitting.
An old workhorse and longtime member of their carbine stock line is the Magpul CTR stock. Featuring an attractive look and the ability to friction lock the stock in place on the buffer tube, eliminating the annoying play found in other buttstocks, the Magpul CTR buttstock quickly became a favorite of just about everyone with an AR-15. It also features an ambi QD sling mount to help secure the weapon when you need to do something else with your hands.
Probably one of the most produced AR-15 stocks in existence, certainly in the last decade, the Magpul MOE stock has been selected by more manufacturers as a stock to replace the CAR-15 or M4 style stock on their carbines than any other. That was, after all, the point of the Magpul Original Equipment line, to produce items of such quality and affordability that they'd be an acceptable alternative to older designs from the factory. Fixed stock lovers have also found a lot to like in the Magpul MOE A2 rifle stock which looks great and handles better than the original A2 stock.
The popular EMod stock from Vltor didn't have a counterpart from Magpul for several years – that is, until the introduction of the Magpul STR buttstock. Featuring a long, smooth cheek weld area beloved by many shooters as it won't grab their beard hairs and two water resistant battery tubes capable of holding several centuries' worth of Aimpoint batteries, the Magpul STR stock is an excellent choice for any carbine or rifle which needs a little more weight in the rear.
For AK lovers, there is no substitute for the original Kalashnikov design. A Magpul MOE AK stock is a great way to start a secure shooting position with your Russian or Bulgarian or American AK, but to help with 922 (r) compliance, the Magpul AK buttstock is made in the USA.
No single product introduced in the last two decades has had the same positive impact on the reliability of the AR-15 as the Magpul PMAG 30 round magazine. Magazine-fed semi-automatic and automatic weapons often trace the majority of their malfunctions to the magazine, and Magpul went a long way toward reducing the incidence of malfunctions with the AR platform when they invented the PMag. The latest release is the Magpul PMAG Gen 3 for the 5.56mm AR, available as single mags and in a 10 pack, but they also make versions for the AR-10 / LR-308 platform (not Armalite pattern AR-10s). Colors available include medium coyote tan, sand, and black. If you've seen some of the other mags for sale online, you know that color options have expanded in recent years. To keep up with the other choices, Omaha Outdoors can cerakote AK mags in our custom plum to match furniture or other accessories. Ranger plates and the famous original Magpul device are among the many Magpul mag accessories available at Omaha Outdoors.
Described by those in the know as a "work of art," the Magpul PMAG D-60 drum magazine is highly compact and can hold, as you might have guessed, 60 rounds of 5.56x45 / .223 Remington ammunition. Even if you don't need 60 rounds of 5.56 at one time, pick up a D-60 just to marvel at this engineering feat.
Like the 45 round 5.45x39 magazines used by the RPK-74 light machine gun, the Magpul PMAG 40 round mags are a bit longer than their 30 round counterparts, but you can count on them to deliver all 40 rounds without a hiccup. The PMAG 40 GEN M3 also makes evenly loading magazines from 20 round boxes of ammunition much easier than trying to load a bunch of 30 round mags out of 20 round ammunition boxes. Play magazine chess, not checkers.
The latest iteration of one of the most important developments in 21st century small arms is the Magpul PMAG 30 GEN M3 mag, holding 30 rounds of 5.56x45 or 223 Rem ammunition in a lightweight, durable polymer body. Gen 3 PMags are improved with modifications for increased compatibility with the HK416 / MR556A1 as well as the SCAR 16S. Of course, you can still use the PMAG 30 GEN M3 Window magazine with a standard AR-15 to easily see how many rounds remain in the mag.
For those who prefer a lot of shooting from a prone position or a bench, or just the look of a shorter, Vietnam M16 style magazine, the Magpul PMAG 20 round mags are ideal. They also make a lot of sense when loading single twenty round boxes of 5.56 into single twenty round magazines. The PMAG 20 GEN M3 magazine is the perfect companion of any AR15.
Next on the Magpul Magazine Countdown is the PMAG 10 GEN M3, a ten-round AR15 magazine for sale in restricted states. Although they don't hold as much ammunition as the other PMags, you can trust that Magpul PMAG 10 round mags are just as reliable and are even better for shooting from a bench or in the prone than the 20 round PMag.
One might think that keeping older mags in production wouldn't make sense, with the added features of the Gen3 PMag, but not everyone needs those features. Original equipment manufacturers just need reliable magazines for the AR, and that's what the Magpul PMAG 30 GEN M2 MOE 30 round magazines deliver. Lest you think only bare bones models are available, you can still get the PMAG 30 Gen M2 Window mag to see those shiny cartridge cases – or the paint marker on the magazine spring if the mag is half full. Or is it half empty?
For AK shooters, a reliable and durable US made polymer magazine for the AK has been an elusive target – until the introduction of the Magpul PMAG 30 M3 / MOE for the AK / AKM chambered in 7.62x39. Also available as the PMAG 20 AK, these magazines will have you forgetting all about crappy surplus mags – and they're made in the US, adding significant parts to your 922 (r) compliance list, including the magazine body, spring, and floorplate.
Magpul PMAG GL9 magazines for Glock pistols have quickly become the training and duty mag of choice for many police officers and armed citizens alike. They are available for 9mm Glocks in several lengths, including the PMAG 17 for the Glock 17 / Glock 34, the PMAG 15 for the Glock 19, the PMAG 12 for the Glock 26, and the PMAG 21 for competition use with the Glock 17 or 34. Of course, you can use any of the longer magazines in the shorter grip pistols, such as using the PMAG 17 in a Glock 19, but you cannot use the shorter magazines in the longer grip Glock pistols, such as using the PMAG 15 in a Glock 17.
In addition to magazines and stocks, there's a plethora of Magpul parts for your black rifle. Whether you have an M4 clone or a tricked out competition AR, add-on Magpul accessories will make your rifle even more effective.
Also known as the Battery Assist Device, the Magpul BAD lever from Magpul attaches to the bolt catch and extends a small arm inside the trigger guard so that you can release the bolt with a downward swipe of your trigger finger – or lock the bolt to the rear with an upward press and the charging handle held to the rear.
Pistol grips and vertical grips existed before Magpul, but the Magpul angled foregrip almost certainly was the invention of the mad weapons scientists at Magpul. Wondering about the AFG vs AFG2? The AFG2 is narrower and doesn't have "wings" for a better fit on certain handguards. Looking for an upgrade over the A2 pistol grip? The Magpul MOE grip is a great choice, and it is matched by the RVG rail mounted vertical grip in terms of appearance and feel. Lest you think that pistols are left out of the party, Magpul 1911 grips come in several colors, thicknesses, and textures.
Magpul slings for sale include traditional clip attached options like the MS3 Gen 2 sling as well as versions with quick detach capability like the MS4 Dual QD sling. Both can be converted from single point to two point slings with ease as your mission dictates, and a Magpul sling mount on the stock, rear of the lower receiver, or rail / handguard will allow you to take full advantage of the excellent Magpul sling options.
