Glock 41 pistols for sale online by Omaha Outdoors improve upon the legendary performance of the Glock 21 in 45 ACP by both extending the length and reducing the weight of the slide, making a more accurate and effective pistol that actually weighs less than the Glock 21 it's meant to compliment. With over 3/4” added to the barrel and slide, the G41 increases muzzle velocity and sight radius, but Glock also made the slide the same length and thickness as a Glock 34, meaning that over two ounces was cut from the weight of the gun and many holsters for the Glock 34/35 may also fit the Glock 41. Much like the G34 and G35, the G41 is ideal for competition use, but also serves as a good concealed carry weapon for determined people and as a home defense pistol.
Everyone Wanted a Longslide Glock 45
Okay, maybe not everyone, but a lot of people surely wanted a longslide Glock in 45 ACP and with the 41, the Glock faithful have rejoiced in the benevolence of Lord Gaston Glock. Available only in Gen4 configuration, the G41 features an ambidextrous/reversible magazine release and a dual captured recoil spring to tame the big 45 ACP cartridge. Standard magazine capacity is 13 rounds, but 10 round models are available for restricted states. Otherwise, G41s are available in two configurations: MOS and standard, with the MOS version having a removable plate which allows for the mounting of a micro red dot like the Trijicon RMR. Even if you don't plan on mounting one now, the price difference between the two is less than having a non-MOS slide machined for a red dot, and that's not even counting the cost of refinishing, making the MOS version extremely attractive. Either way, though, the G41 is a surefire hit that has become very popular since its introduction.
