Glock 30 handguns for sale at Omaha Outdoors are a slightly smaller version of the famed Glock 21 in 45 ACP, the pistol that showed America those fancy European plastic guns weren't just for little pipsqueak rounds like 9mm. By shrinking the G21, Glock made a pistol small enough for concealed carry but powerful enough to take on a variety of threats. With ten rounds of 45 ACP in the magazine, this compact gun gives the shooter two or three more shots than a 1911. What's more, the G30 and especially the G30S weigh as much or less fully loaded than a 1911 does unloaded. Progress is a wonderful thing.
Glock noticed that some end users were taking the thin G36 45ACP slide off that single stack pistol and putting it on the G30 double stack. With no loss of function, the G36 slide made the G30 easier to carry and dropped weight by a whopping 10 percent. Glock took this idea and ran with it, creating the G30S for Slimline. There's also the G30SF with the original slide and the smaller profile grip to fit normal hands, although the G30S being produced today has the same Short Frame grip as the G30SF. Finally, there's the G30 Gen4 which has the original thick slide but the added benefit of an improved grip texture and the interchangeable backstraps which allow shooters to fine tune grip size to their hand size. Whichever G30 you choose, you're guaranteed a compact 45 ideal for everyday concealed carry.
