CZ

CZ firearms at Omaha Outdoors come from one of the oldest and most storied gunmakers in Europe. Czeska Zbrojovka Uhersky Brod, or CZUB, has survived for over a century and through occupation by Nazi German and Soviet / Warsaw Pact totalitarian governments. Now the company is focused on providing exceptionally fine sporting and tactical firearms for citizens, especially Americans through its subsidiary CZ USA, and as a CZ USA gun dealer we're proud to bring you these excellent firearms.

CZ Firearms For Sale at Omaha Outdoors

The selection of firearms in the CZ USA online catalog covers practically any potential use from teaching new shooters with rimfire bolt action rifles at summer camp or on the farm, to hunting big game in Africa with big bore rifles, to concealed carry in urban America, and duty use in tactical situations. No matter what legal purpose you intend with a firearm, CZ shotguns and rifles and pistols are up to the job.

In America, few CZ products are as well known as the CZ75 for sale at Omaha Outdoors. This clean-sheet design is not, as some would have you believe, a copy of the Browning Hi Power. While the two share somewhat similar lines, they are completely different pistols with unique dimensions, trigger mechanisms, methods of slide interaction with the frame, and so on. The 4.6" barrel CZ75B is still available over 40 years after its introduction in various guises, including the classically styled but improved CZ75B Omega and upgraded tactical versions like the CZ 75 SP01. A 9mm double stack DA / SA pistol with a steel frame and slide in its original form, it has been modified to allow aluminum alloy and polymer frames and different trigger mechanisms. Behind the 1911 it is one of the most copied pistol designs in the world, no doubt due to its elegance, accuracy, and simplicity. If you'd like it in a big bore version, the CZ 97 B brings 45 ACP power to the table, while high volume shooters will appreciate the CZ 75 Kadet adapter to shoot 22 LR.

Competitive shooters have found great success with CZ75 type pistols at the highest levels of international competition. The CZ-75 SP01 has won at the IPSC World Cup and the CZ 75 TS Czechmate and Tactical Sport models are ready to go for IPSC competition out of the box. These models are exceptionally accurate and have triggers that feel like breaking a glass rod while wearing a white velvet glove. Redesigned grips and magwells ensure consistent reloads at warp speed and available compensators keep 9mm Major loads under control. For a more traditional competition ready pistol, especially if you want to shoot USPSA Production, the Shadow 2 is ideal.

Concealed carriers have found CZ's smaller pistols to be an excellent everyday carry option, including the CZ Rami and CZ P01. The 3.75" barrel P01 has an aluminum frame and a smaller size than the regular CZ75 but adds an accessory rail, so it's both lighter and more suitable for tactical use than the original as well as being more concealable. It's the sidearm of the Czech National Police and approved for use by NATO forces, featuring a decocker in place of the traditional CZ safety. The 3" barrel Rami is a dedicated backup gun or concealed carry gun with an alloy frame and either DA / SA with a dedicated safety and no decocker for optional single action carry or BD model with a decocker only.

Despite this explosion in CZ75-based model sales options, the company has not seen fit to rest on its laurels. New designs like the P07 and P09 as well as the striker fired P-10 C have brought CZ USA into the mainstream duty / home defense / carry pistol market again. The P10C in particular has the potential to sway many a future buyer of other tactical striker guns.

Other Firearms in the CZ USA Online Catalog

Available in both pistol and rifle form are versions of the Scorpion Evo 3 S1. Completely unrelated to the famous CZ Skorpion with a K submachinegun made famous by Warsaw Pact forces and terrorists alike during the Cold War, the Scorpion with a C Evo 3 S1 is the semiautomatic version of the 9mm submachine gun developed for NATO military and police forces by CZ. Detachable translucent polymer magazines hold 20 rounds standard with 30 round spare mags available for sale. A 7 ¾" barrel on the pure pistol version makes for a very maneuverable gun and one that can be effectively fired in the Euro subgun method by attaching a sling to the rear and keeping tension on the sling as you pull the gun away from your body during firing. Pistol arm braces also help stabilize the gun for one-handed use. A 16" barrel version with a full stock is considered a rifle by the ATF.

Not to be forgotten are CZ's excellent line of rifles and shotguns. The CZ 455 Lux makes a stunningly attractive alternative to more mainstream rimfire bolt action rifles, while the CZ 527 is a great little bolt action carbine for hunting or other use and makes a great follow-on rifle for youth who learned with a CZ455. Stepping up to the CZ 550 allows big bore calibers such as the legendary .375 H&H, 416 Rigby, 458 Win Mag, and 458 Lott cartridges with between three and five rounds available in the magazine instead of the two big cartridges that other rifles hold.
