Battle Arms Development and the BAD-ASS and BAD-CASS AR safety selectors, available at Omaha Outdoors, are synonymous with quality in design and manufacturing. In fact, it's fair to say that BAD's safety selectors prompted a new wave of high quality and aesthetically focused products for the AR15 that looked as good as they performed. As relevant today as it was when introduced, the BAD-ASS is more than just a clever name.
BAD-ASS: As Beautiful as it is Functional
Plenty of companies have clever marketing slogans, plenty of companies make products that look good, and plenty of companies make products that perform well. Few companies, however, make products that look good, perform well, AND have clever marketing. In the AR15 world, one such company is Battle Arms Development with the BAD-ASS safety selector. Taking the ambi experience to an entirely different level, the BAD-ASS allows the user to select from different lengths and thicknesses to allow a true ambidextrous safety while reducing or minimizing interference with the strong hand trigger finger. In short throw guise, used in conjunction with an appropriately machined lower receiver, the BAD-ASS safety can also reduce the amount of time and effort required to get the weapon off safe and ready to engage targets. With a total of 9 different lever designs, there are 81 possible combinations between left and right, ensuring that just about everyone has the ability to put together the exact ambi safety they need.
Taking the BAD-ASS to the next level is the BAD-CASS, which improves upon the original design by including a dovetail attachment mechanism to back up the Torx head screw attaching each lever. Designated the Combat Ambi Safety Selector and originally designed for military use with the M16, the BAD-CASS is ideal for civilians who want the ultimate in reliability for the AR15 as well.
While the BAD-ASS is available in many colors including stainless steel, red, foliage green, OD Green, Sig Pink, Magpul FDE, and Zombie Green, the BAD-CASS is currently available only in black. If you'd like a BAD-CASS cerakoted in another color, Omaha Outdoors' in-house artists can take care of that for you, and we back their work with a 12-month workmanship warranty.
