American Defense MFG parts and accessories can be found at Omaha Outdoors with fast shipping and reasonable prices. These products have long been some of the forerunners of quick release mount technology and they're widely viewed as one of the best quick release mount bargains on the market today. Their QD Auto Lock Lever lives up to its name by automatically locking in place as soon as you push the lever closed.
If you have a rifle scope that you want to be able to regularly remove and replace with a red dot for close up shooting, you need a quick release mount. ADM throw levers are easy to use in the field and robust enough for almost any purpose. Don't be afraid to look at ADM mounts if you have a big scope – in addition to 1-inch scope mounts, they also make 30mm, 32mm, 34mm, 35mm, and 40mm single piece mounts with optional added elevation of 0, 20, and 30 MOA built right in to the base for those extreme long-range shots. If that wasn't enough, they also offer each of these various options in multiple colors including black, Dark Earth, and even pink, and we have to say an FDE scope mount on an FDE rifle looks fantastic.
With so many options, we're not sure how many possible configurations that works out to, but we're pretty sure their machinists are kept very busy. Because that wasn't enough, they offer all of those same options in height and cantilever configurations for not only the AR platform but also mounts optimized for the SCAR and bolt action rifles with standard and scout configurations, including rifles converted to a chassis system such as the MDT-Tac TAC21 Remington 700 chassis. Whew! It's safe to say that if you have a scope, and you have a tactical rifle, ADM has a mount that'll allow you to put the two together for just about any purpose.
Of course, they make mounts for just about every other optic that does and doesn't have a tube, too. Flip-to-side magnifiers, ACOGs, classic Aimpoints like the CompM3, ACO, and PRO, newer Aimpoints like the CompM4 and Micro T-2, EOTech risers to properly place NVDs or NVGs behind the optic and bring the EOTech up to a lower 1/3 cowitness, MRD mounts for baby red dots like the Trijicon RMR and Burris Fastfire, and more. The new Trijicon MRO is well represented with low, absolute cowitness, and lower 1/3 cowitness mounts in black, flat dark earth, and pink. If putting a Trijicon RMR on your rifle is desirable but placement atop the scope puts it too far away from the bore for your liking, the AD-RMR offset mount is perfect to toss it off to one side at an angle and keep it much closer to the bore.
Optics aren't the only thing you need on your rifles, though. Surefire light mounts from ADM allow you to put some of the world's best tactical lights on your rifle, from the M600 / M300 Scout to the classic 951. Want to show off your skills at the range or take video to ensure you're staying on top of your game? ADM makes a GoPro mount that's machined from aluminum and will make a rock-solid camera shooting platform to ensure stable video and no lost cameras. Oh, and don't forget the ADM bipod mount to make sure your rifle shoots as stable as your camera.
Having grown from a mount company, American Defense MFG also makes critical components for the AR and even complete AR15 rifles. The various ADM MilSpec and Enhanced AR15 bolt carrier group options and AR-10 Enhanced bolt carrier groups are designed to function flawlessly for extended periods of time. They even offer buffer tube kits and buffers that are meant to reside in standard carbine tubes while eliminating bolt bounce and smoothing out the cycling of your AR. Finally, there's the ADM UIC AR-15 rifle line, incorporating all of the best parts from ADM and around the industry to create a custom-level rifle right out of the box. This is available in many configurations, from patrol carbine to SPR for longer range engagements.
