ZEV Technologies Glock Magwells For Sale

Do you find that your Glock feels just a little light when you wield it at the range? Are you looking for a way to increase that weight slightly? If you want to take down two birds with one stone, you might be interested in a ZEV Tech magwell. Built to offer a faster reload and provide a bit of additional weight to help with recoil management, these magwells will help balance out your favorite pistol and give you better success in a competition or for self-defense. Developed to provide competitive shooters with a real leg up, ZEV Technologies has been producing a wide variety of performance parts for your Glock. Among those parts, you might want to make sure a magazine well is near the top of your list. With its ability to help control recoil and to improve your reload time, you’ll find that ZEV has really factored everything into consideration when they engineered these excellent options. Now, you can find them for sale right here at Omaha Outdoors.

What Purpose Does a Magwell Serve?

No matter what company you consider, an aftermarket magwell is designed primarily to facilitate faster reloading. ZEV Tech magwells feature a flared base, which is wider than the stock opening. This helps to guide the magazine into place when you reload and allows for quicker times. In addition to this, ZEV realized that a good magwell could actually help balance out a pistol and improve the recoil management. Furthermore, they found that a good magazine well helps to keep your hands in the proper position as you shoot. Integrating all of these aspects into an attractive package, they produced 3 different types.

Three Different ZEV Tech Options

The basic option for any new magwell is made from stainless steel. With a small insert weight, this magwell weighs 6.7 ounces and provides for a relatively medium-level balance. Using a large insert weight increases that weight to 7.4 ounces, which is a bit on the heavier side. Alternatively, those who want a really heavy magazine well might decide to go with a brass option. These brass versions weigh 6.8 ounces with the small weight and 7.9 ounces with the large weight, which will make a noticeable difference in weight. If you prefer a lighter option, the aluminum well offers either a 4.5 ounce or 5.5 ounce option. Both the brass and aluminum magwells use a black crinkle powder coat to ensure toughness and resilience.

Choosing the Right Magwell

Unlike certain other components, these magwells were all designed to fit on a variety of weapons, working with competition pistols and service pistols alike. In this way, the choice of which model is right for you is all about selecting the right weight. If you just want to add a little extra weight, you might go with the aluminum magwell. Alternatively, the brass or stainless steel can serve you well if you feel you need more than that. In either case, you should find that you can reload the handgun more quickly and from there it is just about balancing the weight right. At Omaha Outdoors, we realize that customizing your pistol can make a huge difference in your shooting success. If it is for competition, it can mean the difference between victory and defeat. In self-defense situations, even a little change can result in the difference between life and death. Keeping this all in mind, we offer you a variety to choose from. So, when you are ready, simply select the one you need from below. If you are unsure, give us a call and we will be happy to help.
