Omaha Outdoors Return and Exchange Policy
Omaha Outdoors allows for the return or exchange of many of its new items provided that they are unopened, in new condition, in their original packaging, and returned within 30 days of delivery. Note that some items, such as special orders, gift cards and ammunition, may not be returned or exchanged. Our firearms return policy is detailed later on this page.
In order to return a qualifying product for a full refund or to exchange an item, you must first contact us for authorization by calling us at 1-281-778-5760 or emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Upon authorization, we will issue you a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
- Processing Returns – Upon receipt of your product, we will issue your refund using the same payment method you originally used to pay for your purchase. Allow up to four weeks to receive your refund. This allows for 5 to 10 business days for transit time, another 3 to 5 business days for processing your return, and another 5 to 10 business days for your bank to process our request. Depending on the reason for the return, we may deduct return shipping costs from your refund. We may deduct a 15% restocking fee from your refund.
- Processing Exchanges – Upon receipt of your product, we will ship the replacement item. If there is a difference in value between the original item and its replacement, we will initiate a transaction for the balance priory to shipping the item. If the replacement item is of a lesser value, we will issue the balance using the same payment method you originally used to pay for your purchase. Allow up to four weeks to receive your partial refund. This allows for 5 to 10 business days for transit time, another 3 to 5 business days for processing your return, and another 5 to 10 business days for your bank to process our request. Depending on the reason for the exchange, you may be billed for return shipping costs.
When shipping the product back to us, please make sure to include all related items such as accessories, manuals, and warranty cards. Please do not write on or adhere labels to the original packaging. The original package should be placed inside a shipping carton and our prepaid shipping label affixed to the shipping carton.
We do not ship firearms directly to you; we ship them to a FFL (gun shop or gun dealer with a Federal Firearms License) from our online gun store of your choice. If you have not yet taken possession of your firearm from the dealer, it may be returned to use for a full refund or replacement. Depending on the reason for the firearm return, we may deduct a 20% restocking fee from your refund.
Please carefully inspect the item while it is still in your FFL’s possession. If you would like to return it, do not take possession of it. Contact us right away and we will initiate the return process.
Once you take possession of the firearm from the FFL, it may no longer be returned to us.
The following items cannot be returned:
- Special orders
- Gift cards
- Ammunition and reloading products
