SnoMan’s Concealed Carry Recommendation Video

I know you’re all dying to know which one do I carry? The answer is I’ll go ahead and tell you. Of the guns on this table, the one that I have carried the most is. Down this line, we have the Glocks. This is the sub compact Glock. We call it Baby Glock.

This is the compact. This is another compact and that’s a full size Glock. This is a Taurus PT99, Beretta PX4 Storm, XD .45 by Springfield. Sig P229, Taurus Millennium PT145, Walther P22.

This is a Glock 26, which is the subcompact in a nine millimeter. The 27 is the subcompact in a .40 caliber. They make a couple of different ones in a .45 caliber. It’s small and it’s light and it’s easy to conceal.

This is a Glock 19 nine millimeter. This holds 15 rounds plus one in the chamber. As opposed to the Baby Glock, which holds ten rounds plus one in the chamber. This is a full frame Glock 13 rounds of .45.

The Glock 21SF is one of my favorite handguns of all for carry or not carry. On the regular Glock 21, the grip is too large in this dimension for my hand. I can’t get a good grip on it.

They came out with a short frame Glock 21. It has an ambidextrous magazine release. It’s got a picatinny accessory rail. The Taurus PT99 AF nine millimeter it’s big and it’s got a long barrel. It’s got a great grip. A fabulous trigger and I’ve got a laser in it. I like to shoot it. But I don’t like to carry it because it’s so heavy.

The Beretta PX4 Storm gives you 14 rounds plus one in the chamber, an ambidextrous safety decocker. It’s got a hammer. It’s got a very nice trigger, very crisp. That one conceals pretty well. It’s not as blocky as say the Glocks or the XD.

Springfield XD .45, this gun comes in a compact version that I would recommend for carry. Let me show you a couple of features of this gun that I think are exceptional. That little piece of metal sticking out of the back that tells you that the striker is ready. That means it’s cocked. You can see it and you can feel it.

I’m gonna load a round in the chamber because I want to show you this loaded chamber indicator. All right, I loaded one in the chamber. Look how that thing sticks up. You can feel it. You can easily see it. Most guns you can hardly tell with that loaded chamber indicator. The one on the Springfield XD .45 is very clear.

I’m gonna tell you the one thing I don’t like about this gun. It’s about the only thing, the trigger. Squeezing that trigger is like squeezing a rotten peach. Otherwise, there’s a lot to be said for the gun.

The Sig. P229 of the guns on this table, it’s got the best trigger of all. Like the proverbial breaking glass rod. It’s amazing, excellent gun. It’s a Swiss gun, .40 caliber, holds 12 rounds plus one. It’s heavy. Backpack is a possibility. But as far as putting the gun in a holster or something, I wouldn’t do it.

Taurus Millennium PT145 it’s the smallest .45 on the table. That’s a really good concealed carry handgun. Okay, so I know you’re all dying to know which one do I carry. The answer is which one do I not carry.

I don’t carry, well okay. I don’t carry them all at the same time. It depends on what I’ve been practicing lately, what I’m wearing. Like in the winter, I can wear a coat. I’ll carry this Glock 21 in my bag. Don’t miss my report on the Maxpedition Falcon 2 backpack.

According to how much other stuff you’re carrying, you can put a heavy gun in your backpack no problem. If you’re gonna carry it actually on your person, in a holster, on your belt or around your ankle or in a pocket, then you’re gonna go for something lighter.

I can put a gun in this holster. The Baby Glock will fit. The compact Glock will fit. If you’re wearing your tuxedo and you want to pull out something slim and stylish to shoot the bad guys possibly one of these Baby Glocks.

You want something that’s really modern looking or even futuristic, then you can go with the Beretta PX4 Storm. Look at that. It’s like a – I mean it’s streamlined. This thing could probably do I don’t know mock three, mock four.

If you’re the kind of guy that’s got like long hair in a ponytail and tattoos and you wear great big black boots with chrome studs. Your girlfriend wears like this collar that’s got spikes on it, then this is the gun that you want to give her. She can put it in her leather vest. It’s the Walther P22. Look at that thing.

People ask me all the time which is the best-concealed carry handgun and I tell them you’ve got so many choices out there it’s actually hard to go wrong. The one mistake that you want to avoid is not carrying.

Of the guns on this table, the one that I have carried the most is the Glock 23, Glock 23 .40 caliber with a trigger job. That gun has seen a lot of action.
