Larry Vickers, well known for his work with both Glocks and 1911s, has created a limited run of special edition Glock 17s and Glock 19s. Working in conjunction with Vickers Tactical Sights and Tango Down, he has created the Glock 17/19 RTF2 FDE Vickers Tactical handguns. There will be only 2,500 of each, with serial numbers 0001LAV through 2500LAV (Glock 17) and 2501LAV through 5000LAV (Glock 19), which we review here.
The GEN3 Glocks are produced with RTF2 rough textured frame in flat dark earth (FTE), with black slides. There are no Vickers markings on the slides, but the handguns include Vickers magazine releases, slide catches and magazine base plates.
Wilson Combat has provided the front tritium and rear U-notch sights. TangoDown supplies the balance of the parts. The design, dimensions and rifling of the guns otherwise match Glock standards for the models 17 and 19.
These highly sought after handguns include a coupon for 10% off a Vickers pistol shooting course.
