Les Baer 1911 Thunder Ranch – A Rockin’ .45 ACP Video

This is the Les Baer.

That was pretty easy. Not sure if I’m shooting any slower or any faster. I think I was shooting a little bit slower, but I’m certainly getting better hits. Getting that Baer, boy it’s nice to shoot, so let’s take a quick look.

We’ve got these two, I’m sorry, this one and this one, this actually blew one of the pieces of tape I had there and then two are right in there, right here and right here, again, very easy to do with the Baer. That’s a nice gun, [chuckling] should be for several thousands of dollars.

We are going to take a look at the target. I can tell you, it’s pretty easy and I’m not very far away, I know, all of you guys that are good shooters can give me a hard time but, you can get good center mass hits real quickly. The headshots were no problem. Again I wasn’t shooting super fast, but from a combat standpoint, boy 230 grain bow ammo hit is center mass like that would not be fun and this gun Les Baer Thunder Ranch, boy it’s a nice, nice hand gun. Really been fun to shoot.

That just feels really great and again, in the hands of a good shooter, and I’m an average shooter, but in the hands of a good shooter, this gun would really rock. It’s so fun to shoot because it feels so great in the hands. Those of you who know 45s and shoot .45s, and have had the opportunity to try the Baer, know exactly what I’m talking about.

Okay, last but not lest, finally string with the Les Baer. My buddy, who owns this and the other three guns I showed you earlier, is a big fan of the 185 +P Gold Dot ammo, which is pretty jacked up, so, I’m going to shoot it, I’m going to shoot for accuracy. I’m not sure that mean much but maybe you can get some idea of the concussion and it’s such a bright day you won’t see the flash. At night, there’s a fair amount of flash with this. We are going to go ahead and shoot it and see what it looks like.

I can tell you it’s very snappy.
